Episode 4 airs on Oct. 4, 2020 at 4pm Pacific Time (In New Zealand that is on Oct. 5 at 11am NZST)
Guest Hone Edmonds
He is an author, father and spiritual healer, I am also extremely honoured to call him my friend.
In Nov 2008, Hone's heart stopped beating for 25 mins, this is one of the longest recorded times where someone died but was able to be resuscitated. He literally had a one in 5 billion chance of surviving...but it appears that it was a choice rather than a chance of coming back.
It is not often that you get to speak to someone who has had such an experience, but what's even more intriguing is that Hone remembers what happened to him when he left his body and will share with us what and who he saw, and how water featured in the afterlife.
Hone's experience changed his life forever, and one of his life's dedications is to help heal hearts and ease minds through the full experience of being in Nature rather than living a life boxed away from it.
About JHB (Hone) Edmonds
Hay House/Balboa Author, Spiritual Teacher, and Wilderness Adventurer
JHB Edmonds (or simply, Hone) was given something very few were given on the day he died.
On November the 13th 2008 at 5: 20 pm his whole life changed. Hone was working at his Wellness Clinic when he collapsed when his heart suddenly stopped. For over twenty-five minutes his physical body was without a heartbeat, one of the longest cases to be ‘dead’ in the world. It was a one in five billion chance of surviving a grueling event for such an extreme length of time. His spiritual self had soared to a great and profound epiphany when he journeyed back to what he calls Home.
After going into the coma, doctors told his family to say their last farewells. Prior he had received 8 defibrillation shocks with electrical burns to his chest, a multitude of drugs, three shots of adrenaline to his heart, massive brain damage, broken ribs and split sternum. Weeks later, his emaciated body miraculously awoke. He began retracing the contrasts of his scattered past life and journey beyond the realm. It was whilst there his truth and purpose was finally discovered.
Hone gathered that the human mind is virulently limited, including science, whereas the consciousness is limitless and cannot ever be measured. To a point, he says, that only the consciousness knows consciousness, and only the soul knows the soul. He thereafter chose to live immensely privately to meditate, write, and connect.
Living a devoutly simple life for over 12 years Hone has not owned a mobile phone or any phone, credit card, television, car, a set of keys, or more than two pairs of shoes for over 11 years.
Living in the Wilderness and coastlines is where he feels more consciously at home, as well as writing, sharing and connecting in Satsang helping and healing others across the world.
He has become one of the worlds foremost emerging new intuitive spiritual teachers. He comes from the same publishing house as Doreen Virtue, Dr Wayne Dyer, and Deepak Chopra, all of whom he has met and shared. His message is profound, revelling, instilling, reposing and reassuring. He teaches Meditation groups, Wilderness Retreats, Spiritual Awakening Groups and connections through Satsang. He teaches how to cast aside the Ego whilst learning the fundamental keys of allowing Love to flow from within. 'Where', he says, 'mankind can evolve into purely spiritual, happy, and loving beings, and too, for this precious and most vulnerable Earth'.
'Beyond the Horizon, Into the Light~ Returned from Death' was released in 2013. His second book entitled 'The Emissaries~ Beasts of the Code' was released in 2016. His third book entitled 'Alone~ 18 Days in the Wilderness' is due to be released early in 2021.
In Jan 2020, Hone returns to NZ to conduct a series of renown and popular Annual '7-21 Day Wilderness Retreats and Healing Workshops' in Aotearoa, NZ, on his Wilderness Retreat called Timitara. The next Wilderness Healing Summer Retreat at Timitara will return again in January 2021.

About This Series:
The ancients and indigenous people have always believed that water is a living being. Scientists tell us that water came from meteorites making it an alien substance. What do we really know about it? This channel gives Water a voice and a platform to reveal it's incredible ability to respond to human consciousness as well as its environment. What will it say? How does it see us? What can it teach us and is it alive? I will cover topics that interweave water with science, art and spirituality, gently teasing open the veil of mystery surrounding the element that is WATER.
About Veda Austin:
Veda Austin is a New Zealand water researcher, author, artist and mother of three. For nearly a decade she has been photographing water in a ‘state of creation’, the state between liquid and ice that she believes is responsive to consciousness. Veda views this important phase from three perspectives. Scientifically, water is becoming a liquid crystal, artistically, water is free to design, and from a spiritual level, water enters a phase of fluidity between space and time, and is in a place of ‘becoming’. Her technique is called Collective Molecular Photography (CMP) and captures macroscopic photos of water 'responding' to a variety of influences within a crystallographic medium.
Her desire to find a unifying force that upheld the principles of life, nature, and the cosmos manifested when she began her journey with water at the deepest of levels. Inspired by the genius of Viktor Schauberger, Marcel Vogel, Theodor Schwenk and Rudolf Steiner, Veda embraced a Goethean approach, weaving science with phenomena based learning and years of refined observation. For her, water is not limited, it enters the bodies of people as freely as it enters the bodies of ants…it can be found in the Heavens as well as the Earth, and it never dies, it is always reincarnating between liquid, solid and gas. Veda believes water is FLOW...it does what it is.
With such an extensive collection of photographs Veda’s work could easily baffle the rational mind, but by sheer consistency and quantity cannot be disregarded. In fact, Veda believes that through this medium of art an emotional connection can be formed with water, and that this is key to creating change in the way we treat our natural world. She says, "If we think water can feel, we will care for it. If we think it is intelligent, we will learn from it."
Veda's passion for water extends out of the freezer and into primary schools where she donates time teaching water science and cleverly intertwines it with art projects. She loves to reconnect children to the living water systems inside and outside of their bodies, believing that the 'tamariki' (children) are the water bearers of the future.
