"Projecting and Introjecting" - Season 5 Episode 10
This week, using mindfulness and Kum Nye practices, we develop a technique to begin to 'bring back' the qualities that we might consider positive or negative and projected onto others. Our projections are part of our shadow side. In the words of the poet, Robert Bly, "I found I had to eat crow, and found the meal quite nourishing." In other words, there is often energy and insight even within 'negative' projections.
As we come closer to completing the series, we incorporate many of the skills from earlier in the series, loosening up, in many ways, some of the fixed ways we see the world and our part in it.

About Season 5 with Don McGinnis - "Perceptual Wisdom: Sensing into Wholeness"
This season, through conversations with body centered practitioners, yoga teachers, and teachers of mindfulness and non-dual wisdom, let’s weave our way through the skillful means to touch to and awaken the wisdom and nourishment available through the body. Ever mindful of a broad cultural denial of the body, we share pieces of our own journeys, and offer skills to help awaken us to our own wisdom.
In this strange time that surrounds us, we are looking everywhere for answers, for the truth, the facts, and ways to safely navigate. More and more of us turn within, and begin to trust the wisdom within, moving beyond the divided world of facts, to the wholeness of the heart.
