Title: Somatic Healing Movement Class 2 Sitting and Standing
Description: Practical Somatic Healing Movements for back pain, shoulder pain, bad knees and stiff legs, these moves can be done while sitting and standing.
In this episode Seiji instructs you in movements you can do in your own home that help you relieve very common aches and pains. The movements presented work well for the entire back musculature (from lower back to upper neck), as well as for your shoulders and legs.
It might be a good idea to have a chair with a back lean or a wall to lean against/on. Use some cushioning for comfort when sitting on the floor.
It is recommended to be in a calm and quiet environment for doing Somatics. Movements should be done gently without triggering unnecessary discomfort. Wear comfortable clothing. Drink plenty of water. Treat your body kindly.
Do you have pain and/or tension that you struggle with or want to learn to let go of? Are you having a hard time changing your posture or have suffered an accident or injury in your life? Email us about your issue and we might show you what you can do in the next episode!
